Exemption Request

An exemption by the Surveyor General can be applied for if it can be demonstrated that it is not practicable or necessary to comply with a requirement of the Surveying and Spatial Information Regulation 2017.

Surveyor General's Approval

A Surveyor General's Approval (SGA) is required under any applicable clause of the Surveying and Spatial Information Regulation 2017, for example, Clause 16 - Measurement by remote sensing methods or for the use of an "Approved mark" under schedules 1, 2 and 3.
