The Smart State program delivers three-dimensional (3D) reality models of built and natural environments to support local and state governments, utilities providers and industry.
Smart State transforms two-dimensional images to complex 3D reality models. High resolution imaging sensors mounted in manned aircraft, drones and ground-based handheld cameras, make it possible to reconstruct detailed, spatially accurate 3D models of buildings, high risk assets and critical items of infrastructure.
Smart State is powering the development of the NSW Digital Twin Project. The reality models produced will form the platform for the incorporation of supplementary live feed information.
