AUSPOS Submission

Spatial Services will use submitted AUSPOS reports, GNSS data and validating survey measurements to manage survey marks in SCIMS.

Please note that Spatial Services does not provide an AUSPOS online processing service – this is provided by Geoscience Australia and can be accessed via the following link:

Mark Verification Measurements

Verification measurements between marks is required if the AUSPOS survey mark(s) are to have an established status assigned in SCIMS.

The verification distance(s) will allow Spatial Services to validate the results achieved from the AUSPOS processing against an independent distance measurement for gross errors in the coordinates derived. It will also allow confirmation that the basic Surveying and Spatial Information Regulation acceptance criteria of 40mm + 175ppm between the coordinated marks has been achieved.
